Job Description

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including R&D, Sourcing, Quality Control, etc.) to manage and oversee the full project lifecycle—from kickoff to mass production—covering key stages such as supplier selection, DFM validation, prototype assessment, and tooling review to ensure all requirements are met.
- Experience in managing compliance with regulatory standards for new products is a plus.
- Take ownership of improvements related to product quality, production yield, cost efficiency, and cycle time.
- Assess the quality of components and monitor supplier performance.
- Work closely with the R&D team to lead the prototyping phase, ensuring the product aligns with design and performance expectations.
- Analyze and address production-related challenges, validate technical feasibility, and identify opportunities for design refinement.
- Lead cross-team initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality.
- Prepare detailed project documentation and provide regular updates to the Production Engineering (PE) Leader.
- Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements

Professional Experience:
- 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) engineering, with a strong focus on metal components (e.g., aluminum casting, stamping, punching, etc.).
- Practical experience in using enterprise systems, particularly SAP.
- Exposure to sewing machinery is considered a plus.

Skills & Personal Competencies:
- Strong command of English is required; knowledge of Chinese is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Power BI is a bonus.
- Familiar with industry regulations and safety standards relevant to technical design.
- Strong analytical mindset and adept at solving complex technical problems.
- Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings, working with 3D modeling tools, and reviewing technical documentation.
- Highly proactive, self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, along with confident presentation skills.
- Capable of supporting and guiding suppliers, offering recommendations for improvement and development.
- Collaborative team player, able to troubleshoot issues arising during production and propose effective corrective measures.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical field.
